Support Victims' rights

Prosecutors must ensure, as provided by law, that the rights of crime victims are protected throughout the criminal justice process, including the right to be heard, the right to be notified about the status of their case, and any court proceedings, the right to restitution, as well as advocating for victims and providing support services. Also, the rights of victims must not be abridged by minimizing the severity of crimes or failing to prosecute offenders.
